Guidelines

For Scientuitive Practitioner Track Level 1

Effective July 2024

To ensure an optimal growth experience, please read these guidelines in their entirety. By being in the Scientuitive Practitioner Track Level 1 Pilot Segment (SPT Level 1), you agree to abide by the following outlined guidelines. That means it’s your responsibility to read, understand, and follow these guidelines. Failure to comply with the guidelines will result in consequences detailed within this document.

Please note: all communication is subject to our terms and privacy policy

.

Purpose

We’ve chosen to host this SPT Level 1 website from a desire to serve and support you in your learning journey. It is intended to create a safe and supportive space to learn, access materials and connect with your peers. The website will house resources such as recordings of live training calls, recording of the office hour calls, guidelines and other resources.

.

Personal Conduct

Be kind. Encourage and support each other. Treat everyone with acceptance. If you disagree or have an opposing viewpoint to share, first seek to understand the other person’s point of view, ask questions, and gather information before responding. When and if you do respond, do it with respect, honor, and from a place of compassion. Spirited debate about ideas or concepts is awesome, personal attacks are not.

As a general guideline, always remember to respond with intention. Connect with your body. Make it more than just an intellectual experience.

The SPT Level 1 members are diverse, and we welcome and celebrate that diversity. While we understand and respect that some people want to engage in discussions around topics they feel passionately for like politics, gun control, religion, sex, disability, marriage, etc. — those topics are not the focus of SPT Level 1. If we find a discussion or post is not serving the spirit of the group, or harmful to the group and/or individuals, we may take action (see Guideline Violations below).

Please note, we have a zero tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech of any kind, bullying, disrespect, drama or gossip. Violations of this guideline are taken seriously, and may result in action up to, and including, immediate removal from SPT Level 1.

.

Respect & Empathy

These are the primary qualities to embody when participating in SPT Level 1. This includes when listening to people’s questions or shares in our live Zoom training and office hour calls, engaging in partner work offline and reading/posting comments on the SPT Level 1 website.

Please remember that it’s NOT your job to fix anyone, or to try to make them feel better if they are having a tough time. It is our job to hold the intention that everyone has the capacity to increase their nervous system health and regulation. This applies to when we are in our live calls, as well as during your partner assignments that will take place outside of class time. We ask that you DO NOT provide peer-to-peer counselling, direct advice, or to sell services of any kind.

Please provide 100% Confidentiality, Respect, and Empathy to ALL participants involved.

.

Privacy

During SPT Level 1 you will be given access to contact emails of fellow students for partner work. We ask that you keep this information private and only communicate with your partner regarding the SPT Level 1 assignments.

.

No Promotion Or Affiliate Links (the exception is the Directory)

Safety and containment are a big part of SPT Level 1. This is not a place to find customers, or recruit people to other programs or groups. We ask that you refrain from any solicitation, referrals or other discussions that do not relate to the SPT Level 1 material. The ONE page wherein you can share your business, website, or professional social media feeds is the Directory (which is under the Peer Communication tab). Please note that even with this directory in place, it is still NOT acceptable to actively recruit customers or clients, or sell your services, unless you are actively approached by a peer and there is genuine interest and explicit permission to do so.

.

You can let us know at support@irenelyon.com with screenshots of any applicable violating behavior, and we may take action with individual SPT Level 1 members.

.

To support safety and containment, please remember anything shared and discussed around your peers’ personal history, their struggles and processes, is to be kept within our discussions here on the website, in our Zoom training/office hour calls, and within your online and offline partner interactions.

How And Where To Ask Questions Or Interact With Peers

There are many different places for you to share, connect, and have questions answered. They are:

  • FORUM THREADS

There are specific Forum Threads for each of our Training Calls and each day of Office Hours. Click to those Training Calls Details page or the Office Hours Details page for information on how to use those Forums. Irene and Team Lyon will regularly check these threads while SPT-Level 1 runs live.

There is also a Weekly Prompts page that is part of the Assignments Tab, and this also contains a forum for sharing about your experience with the Weekly Prompt.

Please know Irene and Team we will not be actively moderating (answering questions) in these Forums when we are on official rest or break time, however all forums will be regularly checked by Team Lyon during these times.

  • PEER COMMUNICATION

This main tab contains three sub tabs and they are: Directory, Introduce Yourself, and General Forum. Please visit each tab to learn more about how to use those specific sub tabs. These pages and the comments within them will not be moderated, but will be regularly checked by Irene and/or Team Lyon. These tabs are NOT for questions around course content.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Posts outside of the main focus of SPT Level 1 may be removed if we feel a post is not contributing to the spirit of the group, its intentions and the focus of our learning.
  • We ask that you DO NOT provide peer-to-peer counselling, direct advice, or to sell services of any kind. Any of this type of commentary will be immediately removed by Team Lyon.
  • With the exception of our DIRECTORY sub tab, keep all comments and questions free of personal business info, website links, and contact info.

A Few Tips

MY QUESTION DIDN’T GET A REPLY FROM IRENE

A few things to keep in mind when waiting for a reply from Irene or Team Lyon:

  1. Please give it some time, especially over the weekend. It can take 48-72 hours for your question to be replied to.
  2. If it has been more than 48-72 hours, feel free to post again, or re-tag Irene or Team Lyon on your original question/comment.

MY COMMENT DISAPPEARED

Do a search but also feel free to post again. If your post isn’t appropriate (it violates our guidelines) or has started to cause problems, it might have been removed by Team Lyon. See “What Happens if You Don’t Follow The Guidelines” above. Comments may also be removed by the original poster on occasion.

I POSTED SOMETHING AND NOW I DON’T WANT TO BE A PART OF THE CONVERSATION ANYMORE

You’re absolutely free to delete any post or comment you make in the SPT Level 1 website at any time.

These guidelines and tips may seem strict, but we want to provide an overview at the start of our time together so it is clear what SPT Level 1 website is for, and what it is NOT for.

Once more, we are grateful for your commitment and investment in having Irene and Team Lyon be your guides as you bring foundational principles and practices into your scope of practice.

Irene and Team Lyon.

Note: If you have any questions about our guidelines, or if there’s a question we haven’t answered here, please write to us at support@irenelyon.com.
